Are you ready for the Christchurch marathon? Whether it is your first race, or you are a seasoned runner, we have some tips to help you get the most out of the marathon on Race Day: Sunday 2nd June 2019
Here is our pre race checklist
2h 15m – rise, snack & drink
2h – shower to warm up muscles
1h 45m – another snack & drink
1h 30m – leave for race (allow 30min per 20k)
1h – arrive at race, park car
1 hr5m – final energy gel or banana & drink
40m – personal drinks to info desk (42k only)
45m – drop gear at secure bag area
40m am – final toilet
30m – short jog to warm up
15m – line up, stretching while waiting
0m – Start the race
